Summer may have just started, but if you’re like me and it takes you months to finish crocheting a scarf, you can start making this chunky cowl to keep you warm later this year.
Puff Stitch Scarf
To crochet this scarf, I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn from Michael’s in light blue and a 5 mm crochet hook. The pattern is simple, just keep crocheting rows of puff stitches until it’s as long as you want. The original pattern said 12 stitches per row, but I thought that was too wide and would make it uncomfortably chunky when I wore it, so I cut it down to 8. With 95 rows, mine was 5” across and about 5’ long, then I sewed the ends together to make it a circle scarf.
